Job Description

Job Summary:

PROMEDICAL is seeking a revenue cycle services analyst to join our growing company.  The analyst supports the Revenue Cycle Services Department and COO through data extraction, analysis, reporting of inventory, KPIs and performance reporting.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

Create and analyze monthly client reports, internal reports and monthly benchmarks. Provide clear and accurate summaries and reporting packages for internal and external clients.

  • Create ad-hoc and recurring reports that support PROMEDICAL and our partners.
  • Facilitate the preparation of presentations for monthly client meetings and respond timely to action items that surface from such meetings
  • Revenue reimbursement analyst, including inpatient/outpatient underpayment analysis
  • Reconciliations – weekly, monthly
  • Client reporting – monthly, quarterly
  • Monitor reports for accuracy
  • Internal inventory reports – daily, weekly
  • Claim audits
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in healthcare revenue cycle analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Excel (super user), Word, Power Point.
  • Should be experienced working with large complex data sets and data manipulation.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and have the ability to perform and respond in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare and/or healthcare finance.
